Kajian mengatakan pengguna Android menghabiskan masa yang kurang  berbanding pengguna IPhone

Fikir kembali 24 jam yang lalu. Berapa jam anda habiskan di depan telefon pintar anda? Adakah kebanyakan anda menghantar mesej, membaca berita, memeriksa Twitter, atau bercakap dengan manusia yang lain?

Jawapan anda mungkin berlainan jika anda seorang pengguna Android atau IPhone.

Satu kajian dari Experian mencari maklumat untuk mengetahui bagaimana seorang pengguna telefon pintar menggunakan telefon mereka dan mendapati bahawa pengguna di semua sistem menghabiskan purata 58 minit sehari pada telefon pintar mereka. Walaupun dengan semua loceng, dan wisel dan aplikasi, sebahagian besar dihabiskan untuk bercakap di telefon.

Users of Android phones such as Samsung's Galaxy S4 spend less time on their devices than iPhone owners, a study says

(CNN) -- Think back on your past 24 hours. How much time did you spend on your smartphone? Were you mostly texting, reading news, checking Twitter, or were you actually talking to another human?

The answer may vary if you are an Android or an iPhone user.

A new study from Experian digs into the details of how people use their phones and finds that users on all systems spend an average of 58 minutes a day on their smartphones. Even with all the bells, whistles and apps, the biggest chunk of that time is spent talking on the phone.

There are differences in the way iPhone and Android users divvy up their time. Users of the iPhone spend more time on their devices a day (26 minutes more) but a smaller percentage of time talking and surfing the Web than their Android counterparts and more time texting and snapping photographs.

The study does not delve into how many minutes each side spends arguing online over which system is better.

Whatever the operating system, smartphones are still primarily used as communication devices, according to the study. On average, people spend 26% of their smartphone quality-time talking, 20% texting and 9% e-mailing. Social networking takes up 16% of our time, while games and "other" activities account for 8% and 9%, respectively.

Watching videos accounted for a small amount of time on average, but those who do usually watch videos a little more than four times a day for a total of five minutes daily.

Reading is also a blip, according to the study, with a half percentage of people reading on their smartphones each day.

Newly discovered virus takes more lives, spreads (English Language)

(CNN) -- A new SARS-like virus recently found in humans continues to spread -- with the worldwide total now at 49, the World Health Organization said Wednesday.

Of the 49 known infections with the MERS-CoV virus, 27 have resulted in death, the organization said.
The latest deaths were reported in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi health ministry said Wednesday that three people died from their infections in the country's eastern region.

The virus is "a threat to the entire world," the WHO's general director said Monday.

Although many of the cases have occurred on the Arabian Peninsula, people have died of the infection elsewhere.

However, "all of the European cases have had a direct or indirect connection to the Middle East," the WHO said earlier this month. But "in France and the United Kingdom, there has been limited local transmission among close contacts who had not been to the Middle East but had been in contact with a traveler recently returned from the Middle East."

On Tuesday, a patient died in France after having contracted the virus during a trip to the Middle East, the WHO reported.

Coronaviruses cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to SARS, or Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, as well as a variety of animal diseases.

However, the new virus is not SARS.
The WHO recently gave it a more specific name: Middle East respiratory symptom coronavirus, or MERS-CoV.

It acts like a cold virus and attacks the respiratory system, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said. But symptoms, which include fever and a cough, are severe and can lead to pneumonia and kidney failure.

Health officials do not yet know much about how the virus spreads, which makes it hard for scientists to prevent infections, Chan said.

The WHO is calling for the world to pull together its resources to study and tackle the virus.

On May 28, Lee Hong Ki made an appearance on the SBS Power FM “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” radio show, where he confessed, “Up ’til now, I think I’ve had to say three passionate goodbyes.”

He continued, “What I mean by passionate goodbye is that I didn’t want to break up but there was nothing else I could do. Because I was a celebrity, I had no other choice.”

He also said, “I dated my first love during my trainee years. Since I wasn’t able to go back home as often, our hearts grew distant. That noona asked that we stop seeing each other. So I cried like crazy and told her I couldn’t do it. I cried so much, I was in a state of exhaustion. I kept telling my manager that I wouldn’t become a singer so he tried to dissuade me from walking away from it altogether.”

Choi Hwa Jung commented, “Your agency’s CEO must have been really distressed at that time” to which Lee Hong Ki replied, “Because of me, I’m sure he’s had to go through a lot.”

“Infinity Challenge” and “Running Man” adalah rancangan paling disayangi di Korea (Malay Language)

Menurut keputusan dari Gallup Korea, rancangan "Variety" "Infinity Challenge" dan "Running Man" adalah dua rancangan yang paling disanyangi di Korea Selatan.

Gallup Korea membuat undian yang dibuka dari 20 Mei hingga 23, meminta peserta 19 tahun atau lebih tua membuat undian. Seramai 1217 orang mengambil bahagian.

Rancangan "Variety" dari siaran MBC iaitu "Infinity Challenge" menduduki tangga pertama dalam undian tersebut dengan 12.8%. Ia menjadikan kali keempat buat "Infinity Challenge" berada di tangga pertama selepas "Infinity Challenge" menduduki tangga perrtama pada bulan Januari, Mac dan April. Pada bulan Februari, drama KBS "My Daughter, Seoyoung" menduduki tangga pertama.

SBS "Running Man" adalah nombor dua selepas mendapat 7.2% daripada undi. Khususnya, ia menerima banyak undi dari orang-orang yang berusia 20-an 40-an. Menariknya, kedua-dua Rancangan "Variety" yang menduduki tangga pertama dan kedua mempunyai Yoo Jae Suk dan Haha sebagai hos rancangan.

“Infinity Challenge” and “Running Man” are Korea’s Most Loved Shows (English Language)

According to results from Gallup Korea, variety shows “Infinity Challenge” and “Running Man” are the two most loved shows by South Koreans.

Gallup Korea opened a poll from May 20 to 23, asking participants 19 years or older, “Which show do you like the most these days?” A total of 1217 people participated.

MBC’s variety show “Infinity Challenge” was number one with 12.8% of the votes. This makes it the fourth time that “Infinity Challenge” placed first- it was number one in January, March, and April too. In February, the KBS drama “My Daughter, Seoyoung” took first place.

SBS’ “Running Man” was number two with 7.2% of the votes. In particular, it received a lot of votes from people in their 20s to 40s, whitecollar workers, and students. Interestingly, both the first and second place shows have Yoo Jae Suk and Haha as two of the MCs.

The MBC drama “A Hundred Years Inheritance” placed third with 5.7% of the votes, finding favor with females over 60 years old and housewives. KBS’ variety show “1 Night, 2 Days” was fourth (5.1%) with many votes from females in their 30s and another MBC drama, “Gu Family Book” place fifth with 4.3% of the votes, receiving a lot of love from 20 to 30-something year old women and college students.

Rosberg follows in dad's footsteps, wins Monaco Grand Prix

(CNN) -- Like father, like son.

Nico Rosberg won an incident filled Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday 30 years after his father Keke's victory on the famed city circuit.

Rosberg, the pole sitter, led from start to finish in his Mercedes to give the team its first victory of the season. He had been on pole in Spain and Bahrain, the previous two races, but didn't manage to make the podium as tire issues surfaced.

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull overtook Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton early in the race and grabbed second, nearly four seconds behind Rosberg, and ahead of teammate and last year's winner Mark Webber.

"It's amazing," Rosberg said. "This is my home. I've grown up here all my life and it's really special."

The race was stopped for about 20 minutes after a crash involving Pastor Maldonado and Max Chilton because a barrier had to be repaired. Chilton was assessed a drive through penalty.
Maldonado walked away and later spoke to reporters.

"It was scary," he said. "Chilton crossed my line and it was very dangerous."

Ferrari's Felipe Massa also crashed in a similar incident to his accident in practice Saturday. Massa, starting last on the grid, had to be fitted with a neck brace.

And Romain Grosjean, who lost control of his Lotus throughout practice in Monaco, hit the back of Toro Rosso's Daniel Ricciardo in the latter stages.

Through it all, Rosberg never relinquished his advantage as the pole sitter in Monaco won for the ninth time in the past 10 editions in the principality.

The slow pace suited Mercedes' tires.

"The whole weekend went perfectly," Rosberg said. "I had a terrible start and I was close with Sebastian and Lewis but after that I controlled the pace.

"The car was really good, the tires held on OK and that was really the key, so a massive thanks to the team. I'm ecstatic.

"We've had such a difficult time the last couple races and dropping back so much. That was a little bit in the back of my mind but it was OK. I hope this is going to last."

"I don't put it down to bad luck at all," he said. "I wasn't good enough this weekend. Big congratulations to Nico and the team, they did a great job today and I have to keep working harder."

Rosberg's victory came hours after Red Bull and Ferrari lodged a protest over tire testing done by Mercedes with Pirelli following the Spanish Grand Prix earlier this month. Testing in season isn't allowed.

Rosberg, meanwhile, will attempt to make it consecutive wins in the next race in Montreal in two weeks.

(CNN) -- The woe is over for Bayern Munich in Champions League finals after it defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in a pulsating all German contest in London on Saturday.

The woe is over, too, for Arjen Robben, who scored the winner in the 89th minute and set up Mario Mandzukic's opener in the 60th. Ilkay Gundogan's penalty in the 68th had pulled Dortmund level prior to Robben's nifty decider.

Robben was labeled a villain by Bayern fans last year, when he missed a penalty and other opportunities in the final against Chelsea.

"I do not know how many times I dreamed about it but I said to many people that tonight was going to be our night," Robben told Sky Sports.

No wonder he was celebrating wildly at the final whistle.

Indeed the euphoria among Bayern players at Wembley was fully understandable, since this was a team that had lost three of its four previous finals, two in agonizing fashion.

(CNN) -- In the battle against cancer, one video game is taking the deadly disease head-on. And some young patients are the winners.

"Re-Mission 2" is a collection of online minigames designed to get teen and young-adult cancer patients involved in understanding more about their conditions and how the body benefits from sometimes unpleasant treatments.

Researchers at HopeLab, a nonprofit organization searching for products that positively impact health behavior, were emboldened by the success of their original 2006 title, "Re-Mission," and were looking for a better way to help patients.

"Research on the original 'Re-Mission' showed that it impacted biology and behavior, primarily by energizing positive motivation circuits in the human brain and giving players a sense of power and control over cancer," said Dr. Steve Cole, a vice president at HopeLab and professor of medicine at UCLA. "That gave us a whole new recipe for engineering the games in 'Re-Mission 2' by harnessing the power of positive motivation circuits in the human brain."

(CNN) -- The Germans are coming -- and this time London cannot wait.

Germany suddenly finds itself in the unusual position of being uber cool, and that is in no small part to the first all-German European Champions League final on Saturday, when Bayern Munich takes on Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium, the home of English soccer.

From triple world champion Sebastian Vettel revving up as the poster boy of Formula One, to Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz starring on the big screen, Germany has a newfound confidence about itself.

And yet, some stereotypes just won't disappear.

Within minutes of Dortmund's semifinal victory over Real Madrid, the first "jokes" began to emerge with the UK's tabloid papers jesting that "fans had their towels on the seats already" -- a reference to German holidaymakers' apparent habit of claiming sun loungers at beach resorts.

Traditionally the British have had a particularly testing relationship with Germany, and it has much to do with the two World Wars of the 20th Century.

As recently as a decade ago, stereotypical images of Germans decked out in Lederhosen, socks and sandals goosestepping to the beat of the Oompah Band armed with a Bratwurst and quaffing a Weissbier were not uncommon in British red-top tabloids.

On the terraces, England fans would taunt their German opponents with songs about World War II and the infamous "Ten German Bombers song" where the victory of the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain is recounted.

Peep Show, one of the most popular British TV sitcoms of recent years, is one of the more contemporary programs to reference the "Sausage-munching Bosch" and "Fritz, the Bratwurst Guzzler."
But former tennis star Boris Becker believes his country's successful hosting of the World Cup in 2006 has helped transformed Germany's image.

"I think we have shown the world how diverse and multicultural Germany has become," says the six-time grand slam champion, who has been hugely popular in Britain since winning Wimbledon at the age of 17 in 1985.

"We did a great job with the visiting fans," he told CNN. "And whoever was there seven years ago has seen a different side of Germany and have realized that the new Germans are much 'cooler.'

"I wouldn't say that the English are falling in love with Germany, but I think they have respect for what Germany has achieved in the sporting world.

"There is a new multicultural wave coming from Germany, which is very international and very cosmopolitan."

AIR TANGAN ORANG YANG TIDAK SOLAT

Semua orang tahu bahawa kalau meninggalkan solat adalah dosa besar, malahan orang yang tidak solat lebih hina daripada khinzir. Betapa hinanya kita kalau meninggalkan solat seperti yang dikisahkan pada zaman Nabi Musa a.s.

Kisahnya, pada zaman Nabi Musa, ada seorang lelaki yang sudah berumahtangga, dia tiada zuriat, lalu terdetik dalam hati dia (nazar), "Kalau aku dapat anak, aku akan minum air kencing anjing hitam." Nak dijadikan cerita, Allah pun kurniakan isteri si lelaki tadi pun hamil dan melahirkan anak. Apabila dah dapat anak, lelaki ni pun runsinglah. Dia dah nazar nak kena minum air kencing anjing hitam.

Syariat pada zaman Nabi Musa berbeza dengan syariat yang turun untuk umat Nabi Muhammad. Kalau umat Nabi Muhammad, nazar benda yang haram, maka tak payah buat tapi kena denda (dam) atau sedekah. Tapi kalau zaman Nabi Musa, barang siapa bernazar, walaupun haram tetap kena laksanakan nazar tu. Lalu, si lelaki yang baru mendapat anak, dengan susah hatinya pergilah bertemu dengan Nabi Allah Musa dan menceritakan segala yang terjadi ke atas dirinya.

Lalu, Nabi Musa menjawab bahawa lelaki tu tak perlu minum air kencing anjing hitam tetapi akan minum air yang lebih hina dari air kencing anjing hitam. Nabi Musa perintahkan lelaki tersebut untuk pergi menadah air yang jatuh dari bumbung rumah orang yang meninggalkan solat dan minum air tu. Lelaki itu pun senang hati, menjalankan apa yang diperintahkan oleh Nabi Musa tadi.

Lihatlah, betapa hinanya orang yang meninggalkan solat, sampai dikatakan air yang jatuh dari bumbung rumahnya, lebih hina dari air kencing anjing hitam. Itu baru air bumbung rumah, belum air tangan lagi.

Menyentuh bab air tangan, selalu kita suka makan masakan ibu atau isteri kita. Jadi, kepada muslimat sekalian, peliharalah solat kerana kalau meninggalkan solat (kalau tak uzur), air tangan akan menitik ke dalam basuhan makanan; nasi, dan sebagainya. Anak-anak, suami pula yang akan makan makanan yang dimasak. Takkan nak biarkan suami dan anak-anak gelap hati minum air tangan orang tinggalkan solat.
